Graveside services will follow at Llano City Cemetery. Kenneth Ray Painter passed away Monday, December 11, 2017 in Marble Falls, Texas at the age of 82.He was born September 24, 1935 in Plainview, Texas to James Ernest Painter and Lottie (Cornell).
He is also survived by daughter Vickie Wooten of Llano, daughter Sherry Gray Fikes and husband Elliott of Kingsland, son Boyd and wife Caressa of Round Mountain, son Shane and wife Lori of Llano, nephew Randy Gray and wife Janelle of Cherokee, and nephew Mike Gray and Jewel Early of Llano. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Tow, she loved to sew and had made Stanley’s clothes for over 10 years.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 28, 2017 from P. She is survived by her husband Stanley Nixon; sons, Randy Nixon and wife Geneva of Camden, Arkansas and Ticen Nixon and wife Sandra of Plainview, Texas; 5 grandchildren, Brandi, Trista, Travis, Ty, and Tad; and 10 great grandchildren.
Mary Ellen is survived by a son Thomas Earl Davis of Tow, two daughters Laura Kay Lindley of Mertzon and Clarice Pittman of Llano, two grandsons Logan Kuykendall Davis of Llano and Thomas Jay Shipp of Van Horn, three granddaughters, Staci Rene Williams of New Braunsfel, Laura Lee Johnson of Blanco and Miranda Leigh Tankersley of Mertzon , twelve great grandchildren and one sister, May Beth Evans Chew of Kerrville.
She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence Davis and an infant son Gregory Lane Davis, her parents, brothers Walton R.
Von’s friendliness, kindness and strong work ethic was shown, but not limited to, helping family and friends with “anything that had a motor”.
Von was actively involved with Glebe Lodge, Shriners, Masons, American Legion, and Kena Klowns.
La Trelle was preceded in death by her husband, Hap, parents, James and Pinkie Duncan and brother, James Duane Duncan.
She is survived by daughter, Suzanne Steinbach and husband Laurence of Georgetown and son, Bob and wife Sherry of Conroe, Texas. Junelle Nixon passed away Monday, November 20, 2017 in Tow, Texas at the age of 81.
La Trelle grew up in Llano and graduated from Llano High School in 1939.
On March 31, 1946 she married Hubert Allen “Hap” Adams in Llano.
Kenneth was a resident of Llano for 44 years, since coming from San Antonio, Texas and served in the Marines during the Cuban Missile Crisis.
