The Means and Noble families have been a part of this local area for well over 150 years and included several doctors, judges, and lawyers in Hot Spring County and Arkansas. Abbott was educated in the Malvern Public Schools, graduating in the Class of 1922. She is survived by one grandson, Mark Abbott of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; by one granddaughter, Susan Reid of Dickinson, Texas; by five great-grandchildren, Lauren and Alan Abbott, and Valerie, Lauren, and Katelyn Reid; and by several nieces and nephews, including Virginia Abbott Robertson of Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Eunice was also preceded in death by her daughter, Pamela Greer Adams; brothers, Wilburn and Alfred Greer; sisters, Constance Reynolds, Freda Stiles, and Annie Darby; and dear friend Louise Bailey.
Reared and receiving his early education in Elaine, Arkansas, he graduated from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville in 1968.As a mechanical engineer, he began a 35 year career with Reynolds Metals Company, working at the Patterson Plant in Arkadelphia for 18 years, then relocating to Massena, New York in 1986, from where he retired. age 91 of Malvern, died Monday, January 19, 2015 in the Baptist Hospital in Malvern.She is survived by three sons, Tommy Ainsworth (Charlotte) of Malvern, Jim R.Ainsworth (Ann) of Houston, Texas, and Richard Neff (Carolyn) of Royal, Arkansas; a brother, James R.Lou was also preceded in death by two daughters, Belva Jean Hicks and Sarah Helms, two brothers, John Cunningham and William “Dick” Cunningham, and by three sisters, Ruby Lee Bankson, Gladys Schakel, and Opal Ragland.
Michael Roy Adams, age 62 of Avilla, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Monday, July 20, 2015, with his loving family at his side.Reared and educated in Oklahoma and Arkansas, she had worked for Timex Corporation, the Textile Mill, and retired from Amoco Foam Packaging.Pat attended the Shorewood Hills Assembly of God Church.He has been an active fill-in preacher and Sunday School teacher for 20 years. He is survived by his wife, Susie Harvey Adams, to whom he was married on June 16, 1972 in Malvern; by his daughters, Heather Adams Mc Kim (Mike) of Bryant, Ashley Adams Tackett (Eddie) of Bauxite, and Lindsay Adams Robinson (Raymond) of Alexander; his mother, Dora Adams of Bauxite; a brother, Gary Adams of Memphis; three sisters, Suzanna Osburn ( Charles) of Bigelow, Karan Stewart (Howard) of North Little Rock, and Debra Hanson (Chet) of Bauxite; eight grandchildren, Aaron and Ashlin Kizer, Trey Mc Kim, Braden and Peyton Tackett, Austin, Dalis, and Anniston Robinson. Ainsworth, age 90 of Malvern, died Friday, September 25, 2015 in the Baptist Health Medical Center in Malvern.She was born Pansy Juanita Oden in Hammon, Oklahoma on August 12, 1925 to the late Ollie Oden and Myrtle Britt Oden.He was a member and former chairman of the board of trustees of First United Methodist Church.
